Pavilion & Yaakov Garden
The character of the Helena Rubinstein Pavilion is shaped by the dialectic relationship between its size and its design, which highlights the building's weight and mass. Indeed, this dialectic underlies the pleasing tension between its public character and its Gordian relationship to the surrounding complex which includes Habimah Theater, the Mann Auditorium, and Ya'akov Garden. – as well as between the concept of a "pavilion" and its function as an experimental satellite connected to its mother ship, the Tel Aviv Museum of Art.
